Here we are

I haven't mentioned much lately about our life.  Partly because it has been a roller coaster yet again.  Well not really but nearly.  We moved in late February to a cute little country home on 2.5 acres.  It was just a rental but we had free regin of the property if we so desired.  However after a really long 4 weeks we found out the well was contaminated and was making all of us, the kids mostly, very sick.  Laina and Lauren ended up in urgent care more than once.  The whole things was exhausting and sad.  The kids lost LOTS of weight and looked sickly.

{Sometimes the best place to sleep is on the bathroom floor when your feeling crummy!}

We were desperately searching for something that would fit our family and be as inexpensive as possible.  Nothing worked out.  We were outbid (for lack of better word/phrase) on 4 different rentals in the course of 3 days.  Finally we moved to my old hometown.  My sister moved to GA and this left her home available.  We moved in last weekend and I have to say it has been the most mellow and least bathroom oriented week since we moved!
The kids have acclimated fairly well, although they do still check with us concerning the waters drinkability.  Poor kids are scarred for life.  Rest assured the water here is safe and so is our families health.
The new house is cute but rather far from the office and in town.  You can't win 'em all though.  We are minutes from the gorgeous snake river, a short(ish) drive from West Yellowstone National Park and Mesa Falls, and near lots of old friends.  Overall the move has been good but I will admit that I am already dreaming of being in the country again someday.

The garden plot here is huge, which of course makes me dance the happy dance.  I have a list of seeds I need to pick up, sort season crops that I am out of, and a list of seed starting dates.  I would have loved to have been on the ball and started seeds already but it just wasn't in the cards.  So this weekend I will go browse the nurseries, play in the potting soil, rake and shovel to my hearts content, and be thankful for it every moment.

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

That is so scary to hear about the contaminated well. Could have been a lot worse so I am glad to hear you caught it quickly.
